Our Story

Mayura is dedicated to imparting the rich tradition of Bharatanatyam in the Pandanallur style. Classes are led by twin sisters Smt. AISHWARYA & Smt. SOUNDHARYA, who have over 15 years of teaching and performance experience.

They have successfully taught many students both online and offline, nurturing talent across all age groups. Known for their excellent teaching skills, personal attention, and passion for dance, they inspire students to achieve their best.

Guru Kalaimamani Smt. Charulatha Jayaraman has carved a niche for herself among the new genre of Bharathnatyam exponents. Charulatha is an outstanding award-winning performer and teacher.

She is the founder and Artistic Director of Shrishti School of Performing Arts or "Shrishti" in Orange County, CA. She is the recipient of the most coveted award from the Government of Tamilnadu, "Kalaimamani".

Charulatha is a Nattuvangam exponent and an ardent disciple of Sangeet Nataka Academy Awardee Guru Smt. Indira Rajan, a world class nattuvanar par excellence.
